The terms for using Future Self Nudges.

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Future Self Nudges mobile app, website, and related services. By using Future Self Nudges, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

What the service does

Future Self Nudges helps you describe the person you are becoming, receive one small daily action, check in on that action, and receive future-self style feedback. The service is designed for reflection, consistency, and personal productivity.

Not professional advice or emergency support

Future Self Nudges is not medical care, mental health treatment, therapy, legal advice, financial advice, or crisis support. AI-generated messages may be incomplete, incorrect, or not appropriate for your situation.

If you may harm yourself or someone else, or if you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials and device secure.
• You must provide accurate information when required.
• You may not use the service if you are under 13.
• You may delete your account and app data from Profile where available.

Your content

You keep ownership of the onboarding answers, messages, check-ins, and other content you submit. You give us permission to process, store, transmit, and display that content so we can operate and improve the service, generate AI responses, provide support, and maintain safety.

Do not submit content that you do not have the right to use, or content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, exploitative, or intended to harm others.

AI-generated content

Future-self messages, action suggestions, summaries, and feedback may be generated by AI. You are responsible for deciding whether an action is safe, realistic, and appropriate for you. You should not rely on AI output as a substitute for professional judgment.

Subscriptions, trials, and billing

• Premium features may require an auto-renewing subscription or other in-app purchase.
• Prices, trial periods, billing intervals, and renewal terms are shown before purchase.
• Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another app-store provider.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through the store account used to purchase.
• Refunds, where available, are handled under the applicable store's policies.
• If a payment fails or subscription access ends, premium features may become unavailable.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Future Self Nudges may send reminders or future-self messages based on your selected rhythm. You can turn notifications off in device settings or inside the app where available.

Acceptable use

• Do not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service.
• Do not try to access accounts, data, systems, or subscriptions that are not yours.
• Do not use the service to generate or distribute harmful, illegal, or abusive content.
• Do not bypass payment, entitlement, safety, or security controls.

Our rights

We own Future Self Nudges, including the app, website, branding, design, software, and service content, except for your own content and third-party materials. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for its intended purpose.

Third-party services

The service depends on third parties such as app stores, Supabase, OpenAI, RevenueCat, Expo, Apple, and Google. Their terms and policies may also apply to your use of related features. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

Changes and availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, pricing, or availability. We may update these Terms as the service changes. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service or other users, or if we are required to do so by law.

Disclaimers and limits

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill.
