How Future Self Nudges handles your data.

Future Self Nudges helps you define the person you are becoming, receive one small daily action, and get feedback from your future self. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in, we may receive identifiers such as your email address, display name, authentication provider, and user ID from Apple, Google, or Supabase.
Future-self profile information. We store the answers you provide during onboarding, including identity direction, future age, friction points, action capacity, future-self voice, language, and reminder rhythm.
Daily ritual data. We store your daily action, check-ins, adjustments, weekly evidence, and messages you send to or receive from your future self.
Notification data. If you enable notifications, we store your push token, timezone, reminder time, locale, notification preference, and delivery attempt records.
Purchase data. We use RevenueCat and the app stores to understand whether you have an active premium entitlement. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
Website and support data. If you join a waitlist, email us, or request support, we collect the information you choose to send.
Technical data. Our service providers may process device, app, IP, request, crash, and log data needed to run, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

How we use information

To create and maintain your account.
To generate your future-self profile, daily actions, feedback, and weekly evidence.
To sync your data across sessions and devices.
To send notifications you choose to enable.
To verify subscription access and restore purchases.
To respond to support requests and fix bugs.
To protect the app from abuse, fraud, and security issues.

AI processing

Future Self Nudges uses AI to turn your onboarding answers and app activity into future-self messages, daily actions, and feedback. To do this, relevant parts of your profile, recent actions, and messages may be sent to AI service providers such as OpenAI through our backend.

Please do not enter information you would not want processed by our service providers. The app is not a crisis, medical, legal, financial, or therapy service.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to operate the app, including:

Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and backend functions.
OpenAI for AI-generated future-self content.
RevenueCat for subscription entitlements and purchase status.
Apple, Google, and app stores for sign-in, app distribution, and payments.
Expo for push notification delivery infrastructure.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your personal information for third-party advertising.

Your choices

You can disable notifications in your device settings or inside the app where available.
You can restore purchases from the paywall or relevant app screens.
You can delete your account and app data from Profile, or contact us for help.
You can unsubscribe from any marketing emails by using the email's unsubscribe option or contacting us.

Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and maintain security. If you delete your account, we delete app data associated with your account from our active systems, except where retention is required for legal, security, backup, or transaction records.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so please use a secure device and protect your account credentials.

Children

Future Self Nudges is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

International use

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. By using the app, you understand that your information may be transferred and processed by us and our service providers in those locations.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. If the changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as updating this page or showing notice in the app.
